Author's Shelf

Grounded, honest writing for women who are ready to go deeper—into their truth, their healing, their faith, and the person they are becoming.

These books are for the moments when you know something within you is shifting. When you are questioning what you have always believed, releasing what no longer belongs to you, and learning to trust the truth that is being revealed.

Through personal reflection, faith, and practical guidance, each book is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, heal what is asking for your attention, and take the next step toward a life that feels more aligned, authentic, and whole.

You do not have to have everything figured out.

You simply have to be willing to listen, to trust, and to keep becoming.

Because sometimes the journey forward begins by remembering who you were created to be.

This book is for those who are looking for more than words that inspire her for a moment.

It is for the reader who is ready to look deeper—to question what no longer feels true, heal what has been left unattended, strengthen her faith, and become more intentional about the life she is creating.

Through honest reflection, spiritual encouragement, and practical guidance, these pages invite you to take what you are discovering about yourself and begin living it.

Inside, you will be encouraged to:

  • See yourself, your story, and your life with greater clarity
  • Recognize the patterns, beliefs, and identities you may have outgrown
  • Release what no longer belongs to you without shame or judgment
  • Deepen your faith and learn to trust God in the everyday moments
  • Create practices that support real, lasting transformation
  • Move forward with greater courage, peace, intention, and authenticity

This is not a book you simply finish and place back on the shelf.

It is a book to sit with.

To write in.

To return to when life shifts and you find yourself asking deeper questions.

To remind you of what you already know but sometimes forget.

Consider it a companion for the season you are in—and an invitation into the woman you are becoming.

Because transformation is not simply about changing your life. It is about learning to live from the truth of who you were created to be.

A new book is coming October 20, 2026

The journey does not end when you discover the truth of who you are. In many ways, that is where the deeper journey begins.

The next book continues what My Authentic Me began—with fresh reflections, practical guidance, and a deeper invitation into truth, healing, faith, purpose, and transformation.

Because awakening is only the beginning.

There comes a point when recognizing the truth is no longer enough. You have to decide what you are going to do with what has been revealed. You begin releasing the identities you built to survive, questioning the beliefs you once accepted without question, and making space for the person you are becoming.

This next journey is about living the truth you have awakened to.

It is for the those who are still healing while becoming.

The individuals learning to trust herself again.

The ones whose faith has been stretched, whose purpose is becoming clearer, and who can feel that the life she once lived no longer fits the person she is becoming.

Together, we will go deeper into the work of transformation—learning to recognize what is yours and what was handed to you, release what no longer aligns, listen to the wisdom within you, and move through everyday life with greater intention, faith, courage, and authenticity.

There will be reflection.

There will be truth.

There will be practical tools for the moments when becoming feels uncomfortable, uncertain, or lonely.

And there will be reminders that transformation is not about becoming someone completely new.

It is about remembering.

Remembering your truth.

Remembering your voice.

Remembering your purpose.

Remembering the woman God created you to be before the world began telling you who you needed to become.

This is not about arriving at some perfect, healed version of yourself.

It is about becoming more whole.

More aligned.

More rooted in truth.

More willing to live what you now know.

Because once you awaken to your truth, the next question becomes:

How will you choose to live it?

The journey continues.

And so does your becoming.

A note from the author

I used to believe that finding yourself meant becoming someone new.

I know now that sometimes it means remembering who you were before the world told you who you were supposed to be.

The Journey of Me: Awakening My Truth is more than my story. It is the story of what happened when I began questioning the identity, history, and truths I had carried for most of my life—and discovered that some of the things I believed about myself were never mine to begin with.

Writing this book required me to return to the little girl I once was. The girl who knew she was different long before she had the words to explain why. The girl who learned to adapt, perform, belong, and make sense of a story that never quite matched what she saw in the mirror.

But this book isn't only about what I discovered.

It's about who I became when I finally stopped looking outside of myself for permission to know who I am.

There is grief in awakening. There is loss. There are truths that change you forever. But there is also freedom.

My hope is that somewhere within these pages, you recognize a piece of yourself.

Maybe you've questioned who you are.

Maybe you've outgrown a version of yourself that once kept you safe.

Maybe you can feel that something deeper is calling you back to yourself.

If so, this book is my invitation to you:

Ask the questions.
Honor what you discover.
Release what was never yours.
And have the courage to become who you were always meant to be.

This is my journey.

But perhaps it will help you begin yours.

In truth and becoming,
Shanda Lee
